Congratulations to the Benchmark Senior Living Chefs for winning top honors at Massachusetts Health Council’s “Best of the Best” Culinary Competition!
The Culinary Team of six Benchmark Chefs won out over teams from some of Boston’s most prestigious health institutions, including Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital, Atria Senior Living, Boston Children’s Hospital, UMass Memorial Medical Center, and others.
The team’s winning entry was an American Wagyu Beef Dumpling, sautéed pumpkin shrimp and a rich Autumn broth infused with pumpkin, ginger and lemon grass. The dish, by far the most popular item of the competition, was a contemporary take on a classic surf and turf.
