Cape Abilities, a leading provider of programs and services for individuals with disabilities throughout Cape Cod, has moved its Thrift Shop from Barnstable Village to its new location at 316 Route 28, West Yarmouth, effective immediately.
The Thrift Shop is one of five entrepreneurial businesses Cape Abilities operates to provides pre-vocational training, employment, and significant community interactions for those we serve. According to Thrift Shop Manager Paul Critikos, the move was necessitated by the significant growth the store has realized in the last few years.
“Our new location is significantly larger than our previous space and offers additional opportunities to create more jobs, better skills training, and increase our presence in the Cape Cod community,” said Critikos. “This new 5,000 square foot facility will also allow us to expand and showcase the woodworking talents of our participants in our Furniture Rescue and Restore program.”
The Cape Abilities Thrift Store hours of operation and all contact information can be found on the Cape Abilities website.
