The Hyannis HyArts Campus, at the corner of Pearl and South Streets is celebrating the December holiday season with a campus wide event, Saturday, December 2nd from 5:00PM-7:00PM.
In addition, the artists at the Guyer Barn are offering extended hours from 3:00pm-8:00pm. This campus event coordinates with the Hyannis Main Street Holiday Stroll and Hyannis Harbor Boat Parade and provides another stop to visit while in downtown Hyannis.
Free parking available in the Guyer Barn and Town Hall parking lots.
Visitors can celebrate the season and explore artful creations in four unique settings all on the Hyannis HyArts Campus:

Festive Artists’ Show & Holiday Sale, 3:00pm-8:00pm
Join Three Brewster Artists at a colorful holiday reception & sale featuring new original works by Painter/Designer/Card Maker Amy Mason of Stony Brook Design, Painter/Printmaker Liz Perry of Blue Jacket Studio, and Jewelry Designer/Collage Artist Acqua Hildebrand of Acqua Divine.
The Barn will be full of colorful abstract paintings & prints, semi-precious stone jewelry, collages, cards, and textile goods. Stop in for refreshments, a painting demonstration, creative holiday gifts and meet with the artists.

“After Dinner Delights” Wine Tasting Seminar (5:30pm-6:15pm)
Gallery Artrio is a fine art gallery featuring original paintings, blown glass and hand wrought jewelry. The Gallery and Cape Cod Package Store of Centerville get in the spirit with a holiday reception at the gallery. The evening features “After Dinner Delights”, a wine seminar on how to pair dessert wines and ports with cheese, chocolate and sweets! Learn how to put a noble last note on your evening with friends. The event also features a tasty selection of special ‘small works’ by the gallery artists. Diane Slater, wine expert from Cape Cod Package Store and Gallery Artrio artist will be your guide for the seminar. The “After Dinner Delights” seminar will be 5:30pm – 6:15pm only, so make sure you arrive early. The reception continues to 7:00 with light refreshments.
Mellissa Morris – Studio 46 Pearl Street 5:00pm-7:00pm
HyArts Campus Artist-in-Resident Mellissa Morris opens the doors to her charming studio to share her latest works. Stop into her hand cut paper snowflake gallery special for this evening event and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate. Mellissa Morris is an expressive abstract artist working with painting, collage, drawing and printmaking techniques.
Bass River Pottery – 50 Pearl Street 5:00pm-7:00pm
Potter Jeanmarie O’Clair will be on hand to demonstrate her pottery process at her open working studio. Receive a complementary small cup (while supplies last) to fill with refreshments while you visit.
Her pottery reflects the beauty of the ocean that surrounds the Cape. From functional stoneware and hand cut artisan tiles, all of her distinctive handcrafted items, including the original Mermaid Mug, will be available for sale.
PLEASE NOTE: On Friday, December 1st from 4:00pm – 6:00pm, Bass River Pottery is hosting an open studio night. Make a holiday ornament while getting a jump on the holiday shopping. Price: $20.00.
