Nauset Disposal is thrilled to announce that the company’s annual fundraiser, Trash Bash, held on Friday, October 21 at their location in Orleans, was hugely successful. The event, which benefits five local non-profits, attracted approximately 400 attendees and grossed nearly $20,000 from sponsorships, ticket sales and an opportunity drawing. The 2016 Trash Bash beneficiaries are Cape & Islands United Way, Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands, Center for Coastal Studies, Cape Cod Cares for the Troops and Wild Care. Nauset Disposal also collected non-perishable food donations for the Lower Cape Outreach Council as well as new or gently used children’s clothing donations for Katelynn’s Closet.
Trash Bash is successful each year due to many donations and sponsorships. Nauset Disposal would like to thank all those who sponsored, donated, volunteered and attended the event. Shawn DeLude, President of Nauset Disposal, states “Giving back to the local community is a top priority for Nauset Disposal. Trash Bash provides an opportunity to bring people together, enjoy a fun night and support five very worthy non-profits that are doing incredible things.”
