Cape Cod Charitable FunRaisers (CCCF), a Hyannis based fundraising organization, announced a new leadership team and Board of Directors. CCCF manages several fundraisers for local non-profit organizations including The Last Gasp, Spectacle of Trees, and more. It had been led by its Founder William “Bill” Murphy, who served as President since 1992.
“It has been my great pleasure to serve our community for the past 25 years. I’ve had the privilege to work on behalf of wonderful charitable organizations, and to develop lifelong friendships,” said Murphy. “Earlier this year, I realized it was time for me to begin a new chapter, and am delighted to pass the leadership of CCCF and its Board to a dedicated community citizen, Sharon Hawkins.”
Sharon Hawkins, the new President of CCCF and its Board of Directors, is joined by Officers Kasey Boyle (Vice President), George Searles (Treasurer), and Guy Morse (Clerk), along with Board members Jessica Sylver, Sharon Brown, and Rob Nichols. Jessica Sylver, President and CEO of the Greater Hyannis Chamber of Commerce, has assumed day-to-day management responsibilities.
“Today’s announcement is a new beginning for Cape Cod Charitable FunRaisers and a building block for the future,” Hawkins said. “It’s an honor to succeed Bill in this great organization, and I’m excited to work with such a talented group of leaders to achieve even greater success for our beneficiary charities.”
The first event under the new leadership team is The Last Gasp bike tour from Sandwich to Provincetown to be held on Saturday, September 17. This three part, day long extravaganza benefits several diverse nonprofit organizations headquartered on Cape Cod.

Wishing the new CCCF leadership team success far into the future, Murphy closed, “This new team will help make a great brand even better, and afford these charities the continued support they need. Another successful year is in the making!”
