David Robinson, President & CEO of Rogers & Gray says “Words cannot begin to describe how proud we are of this honor. It is because of each and every one of our employees, that our working environment is outstanding, our corporate culture is strong, and our future is bright.”
In order to be considered, a percentage of employees had to nominate their agency and answer questions about their employer. “People, culture, strong leadership, respect, profitability, growth and community involvement are a few of the reasons why Rogers & Gray Insurance took this year’s “Overall Best Agency to Work For” award, writes Andrea Wells, Editor in Chief of Insurance Journal.
The criteria for inclusion highlighted the agencies programs and benefits, company charitable efforts, community outreach, opportunities for growth, access to technology, educational opportunities and personal job satisfaction.
“We have the ‘best of the best’ at Rogers & Gray.” says Michael Robinson, Chairman of the Board. “Receiving this honor is a direct reflection on the exceptional group of people we have at the agency and our concentrated focus on hiring people who bring a tremendous amount of knowledge and value to our clients, community and one another.”
In 2014, Rogers & Gray took the #2 spot in the entire Eastern Region and #1 spot in all of New England. “Our benefits package and perks are generous.” states Robert Bizak, Principal. “We take pride in offering employees a strong suite of benefits and the agency takes great pride in our community involvement and actively supports the efforts of our team members.”
“Employees of the winning agencies say that happiness in the workplace has a lot to do with people, relationships and culture.” Wells writes. “The best agencies to work for also provide employees with a strong sense of work-life balance, and deliver a workplace environment where employees feel supported wholeheartedly by management and their peers.”
