Darling Hotels LLC is excited to announce that site work is underway for the new 100-room Hampton Inn that will overlook the Cape Cod Canal on Perry Avenue in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. With extensive experience owning and managing hotels in Souteastern Massachusetts, the Darling Family is proud to join in the ongoing revitalization of beautiful down town Buzzards Bay.
The family-owned company looks forward to seeing the growth of new business and participating in positive changes in the area for many decades to come. The hotel will be a cornerstone and anchor in the community. The Hampton Inn by Hilton, Cape Cod Canal has been designed to accentuate the canal-side village with the Darling Family investing in additional architectural details to ensure the traditional Cape Cod style emphasizes the beauty of Buzzards Bay. The hotel will include sloped roofs and a brick and clapboard style exterior.
“Our family is eager to invest in such a wonderful community. We look forward to building a hotel that will be the gateway to Cape Cod and to years of partnerships and involvement with the businesses, residents and visitors of Bourne,” said David Darling, president of Darling Hotels. Diane Gomes, Director of Sales at the Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton, Cape Cod, was sought out and chosen to join the Darling Hotels team to assist in establishing the Hampton Inn by Hilton, Cape Cod Canal. “We have followed Diane’s career over the years and have been waiting for the opportunity to have her join our team and be part of this new project. Her passion and years of experience in all aspects of the hotel industry and her love for the community where she grew up and chose to return to raise her family, have proven to be an asset to the Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton, Cape Cod and will be an excellent fit for our new hotel,” said Brenna Sullivan, General Manager of the Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton, Cape Cod.
Gomes is excited to continue the Darling Family’s commitment to excellent service, hospitality and community involvement and advancement. “This hotel will fit a niche that has been lacking in our community and will attract new business and guests to our town allowing Buzzards Bay to blossom into what has always been the gateway to Cape Cod.” she said.
The Hampton Inn by Hilton, Cape Cod Canal is scheduled to open in Spring 2019.
