Mark Skala, a veteran journalist, marketing executive and community leader, has joined Lighthouse Media Solutions based in Hyannis.
As vice president of account management, Skala will oversee, manage and implement new levels of customer service, workflow and execution capabilities for Lighthouse clients and prospects.

Skala most recently served as vice president of marketing and community relations at Bank of Cape Cod where he oversaw marketing strategies, digital and print advertising, social media, events and the bank’s community relations efforts. Skala spent more than 25 years in the print and digital media business on Cape Cod and suburban Boston before joining Bank of Cape Cod.
Throughout his career, he has been recognized with awards for outstanding leadership, team building, customer service, journalistic excellence and commitment to the community.
Skala is active in many community organizations including YMCA Cape Cod Board of Directors and serves as past chair and longtime board member of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, and serves on numerous marketing and communications committees on the Cape, including with the Hyannis Area Chamber of Commerce and A Baby Center. He and his wife, Kelly, live in Hyannis with their three sons.
