The Steamship Authority announces that its high-speed ferry, the M/V Iyanough, returned to service on Tuesday, July 18th, beginning with the 8:15 am departure from Hyannis to Nantucket.
Repairs to the vessel were completed at the Fairhaven Shipyard, where the M/V Iyanough was taken following the accident last month. The vessel has undergone several test runs, including successful sea trials today. The U.S. Coast Guard inspected the Iyanough today and deemed it seaworthy.
“We thank our customers for their patience and loyalty during the time when the Iyanough was out of service for repairs, and we welcome them back aboard our fast ferry,” said Robert Davis, General Manager of the Steamship Authority.
Beginning Tuesday, July 18th, the M/V Iyanough’s daily schedule is as follows:
|Depart Hyannis||Arrive Nantucket||Depart Nantucket||Arrive Hyannis|
