6th annual Cape Cod White Ribbon Day set for March 1
A Call for Men and Boys to take Action
February 6, 2018 HYANNIS, Mass. –The Yarmouth Police Department, Independence House and the
Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office will collaborate for a 6th year to bring White Ribbon Day to
White Ribbon Day is a national campaign that calls on men and boys to stand up in solidarity and take a
pledge, wear a white ribbon and be part of a positive change movement by saying NO to violence
against women and girls, and all gender based violence.
This free community event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 9:00-
11:00am A light breakfast and meeting space are generously donated by the Cape Cod Irish
Village, 822 Route 28 in South Yarmouth.
