Cape Abilities, a non-profit organization well-known for providing quality services for individuals with disabilities across Cape Cod, welcomes Leah LaCross as its new Associate Executive Director for Program Operations, effective immediately.
Ms. LaCross comes to Cape Abilities from the Duffy Health Center where she was the Director of Program Development and Quality. Prior to that, she served in a number of senior management positions at Human Services agencies across the Cape. LaCross, who is a lifelong resident of Cape Cod, is a graduate of Curry College and she has a Masters in Public Administration from Suffolk University.
“We are so fortunate to have someone with Leah’s professional background join our team in this key leadership position”, notes Cape Abilities President and Executive Director Rosalie Edes. “She has a strong commitment to quality services for individuals with disabilities and particularly, the expansion of services and supports for Cape residents.”
Ms. LaCross’ broad background in program and policy development and implementation, performance management, strategic plan development, fiscal management, and staff supervision and training will be a significant asset to the Cape Abilities management team. In her capacity as Associate Executive Director, LaCross will oversee all Program Operations, Quality Assurance, Clinical Services, IT and Transportation.
