First Citizens Federal Credit Union logoFirst Citizens’ Federal Credit Union initiates “Project Care Package” to donate 150 care packs to provide assistance for the homeless

Project Care Package was an idea brought forth by First Citizen’s employee, Mario Nadich, Assistant Manager of the Managed Assets Group.

FCFCU Project Care PackageThe entire credit union came together to submit and collect donations in order to fill 150 backpacks with basic care necessities for the homeless in our communities. Each branch had a collection box and generous donations came in for items collected such as soap, tooth brushes, socks, band aids, wet wipes, etc.

The bags were donated to three organizations: NOAH Shelter on Cape Cod, Mathew 25:40 Mission in Taunton and through the New Bedford Public School system for unaccompanied youths.
