Whole Health Pharmacy is providing immunization services at their 596 West Main Street, Hyannis location this fall and at local businesses and schools. Flu shots at the store are offered between 10am and 5pm.
This annual vaccine varies year to year and is recommended to prevent or lessen the symptoms of the flu. Flu season peaks during the months from October through May.
Whole Health Pharmacy will send a pharmacist to conduct a “Flu Clinic” on site for participants that have 20 or more employees/family members who would like to receive Influenza Vaccine. For most employees the flu shot is covered completely, so there is no charge to the employer for this service. Whole Health Pharmacy staff will visit the business for an hour or two with each clinic.
Employers are encourages to coordinate with team meetings, presentations or employee gatherings. Vaccination services are an important tool to improve productivity, enhance employee attendance and ensure community health.
